A white background with a few lines on it

Dawn Sowell

Born and raised in the heart of Indiana, my journey has been one woven with service, study, and compassion. After marrying, I embarked on an adventure to Cadillac, Michigan, calling it home for

25 years. Eventually, the winds of change guided me back to Indiana, where I embraced my calling in nursing.

With a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Ivy Tech and a foray into Business Administration at Indiana University, it became clear that my heart truly belonged to caregiving. I had the honor of serving in the United States Army, where I was stationed in

Würzburg, Germany for two stimulating years that broadened my horizons and deepened my dedication to service.Equipped with a diverse background, I embraced the role of a 9-1-1 dispatcher for 15 years, supporting my fellow citizens when they needed it the most. My life has been led by a spirit of service, which

continues to drive me in new ways each day.

On a lighter note, I am a proud mother to one wonderful daughter and the delighted grandmother to five adorable feline companions.
